It's already been a year since the start of post_bellum!

Roger Davies has spent the last year as a happy-go-lucky playboy. He had a semi-regular thing with Katie Bell, although that fizzled out as she took up with George Weasley. He's also spent much of his time working on his Transfiguration Apprenticeship, which he changed about six months ago to a more theoretical topic. Roger is interested in finding out whether Transfiguration could be applied to Muggle genetics, and if there is a genetic component to magical abilities. His Master is supportive, although there's been little research or writing that bridges the gap between those two ideas. Even if he fails, Roger's curious to see if there's a limit to what magic can do.

Roger's also starting to realize that his life is fairly superficial. He's very loyal to his family, but he doesn't have any strong relationships (friendship or otherwise) outside of his family. While he's a commitment-phobe, Roger's coming to the realization that always going out to have a good time can get a little lonely as well.

June 3rd, 1999: Roger pops into Diagon Alley to get a few materials for his Transfiguration Master and runs into Harry.
June 8th, 1999: It’s Sunday dinner for the family, and Roger decides to spring his gift for Bridget on Marian. She isn’t pleased.
June 10th, 1999: Roger tries to get Katie to slack off a bit via owl post.
June 11th, 1999: Roger and Katie have a bit of dinner. It's not a date.
June 22nd, 1999: Roger decides he needs a drink and runs into Neville.
June 26th, 1999: Percy tries to settle into his new responsibilities but finds it hard to concentrate. Roger helps contribute to the procrastination.
July 1st, 1999: Roger decides it's a drinking sort of day and runs into Cho.
July 25th, 1999: The Bells host a fundraiser in honour of the new Minister.
August 4th, 1999: Roger gets a pint at the Leaky and chats with Orla and Millicent.
August 5th, 1999: Roger's relaxing after a long day of research and receives a surprise visit from Katie [mature content].
August 8th, 1999: Tracey goes out for a drink and meets Roger.
September 18th, 1999: Thinking and working, but with a little extra brilliance for the day..
October 22nd, 1999: Roger sends a few owls for work and play.
October 23rd, 1999: Tracey helps Roger with his work.
October 25th, 1999: Roger takes Tracey out for that promised drink.
October 27th, 1999: Roger takes Katie out to dinner.
December 4th, 1999: Roger goes home to celebrate his Mum's birthday and participate in the annual tree-trimming.
December 25th, 1999: Happy Christmas at Rosie's - Roger hits up the 3Bs for an after-Christmas drink.
December 27th, 1999: Friends of St. Mungo's fund raiser for The Janus Thickey Ward refurbishment at St. Mungo's Hospital.
February 16th, 2000: Roger goes out with a few of his mates from home and runs into Millicent.
April 12th, 2000: Roger comes home after Easter dinner with the family and does a bit of thinking.
